00 Passat
Was just wondering if anyone has a 00 Passat 4Motion on this forum ??
I am interested in one .. and the price is damn damn cheap. It has all the goodies U expect from a luxury car.
However ... I know parts for VW are expensive compared to Jap cars.
So .. can anyone shed some light upon my situation and share some experieces with owning a late model european car.

Some prices can be expensive. True.
My arguement tends to be they need to be replaced less than Jap cars. I had a Honda CR-V until recently, and honestly couldn't fault the reliability,
but lacked power and the comfort and safety of my New Beetle.
The technology is furthered, and in something like a Passat 4-motion, the luxury is a bonus, in addition to the aforementioned assets.
Back to the original question. I am due to replace the oxygen sensor and pollution sensor on mine, and together, should be around $1500+. Now saying
that, I haven't spend a cent on it in the 25,000 kms that I have owned it.
