gauge positions???
hey guys,
im just interested to know where everyone else puts there gauges on the dash in baywindows, or bugs for that matter,
i have 3 small type VDO gauges i need to take off the top of the dash that i did have in a made to fit gauge pod box,
i dont want any shit with the cops sayin the 5cm high gauge pod is obscuring my vision n that... (plus its not licences as a v8 yet, hence why im
moving them now)
PLUS... i allready got a 3" tacho with shift lite to be installed to the right where the dash bends down so that marks there out of the question,
gauge pods can be put underneath the dash just like the voltometer in the photo attached,
but personally i always like to keep a constant eye on important gauges like temp and pressure so to have them in easy view (LIKE ON THE DASH MR
POLICEMAN!!!!!) underneath the dash isnt in easy view...
i can only think of cutting 3 hole saw holes in centre of dash (DRAWN IN PICTURE)and making a curcular wedge to fit so they face the driver... but
thats very tight fit...
sorry bout allt the typing, i got carried away haha,
any ideas greatly appriciated,
cheers,

Kevo thats how my gauges are and they look sweet
You only need two tools
Wd40 if it don't move and it should
Duct tape if it move's and it shouldn't
