In one of the very early issues of Volksworld there was a feature on a dark blue mild custom bug that had a safari windscreen.... if I remember right
it was around 1990 or there abouts..... I also recollect the the owner immigrated to Oz soon after and brought the car with him.... I think he moved
to Adelaide.... Wonder if its still around?

Had the number plate Lowdown, also had now door hinges or handles, remote control opening and was around but haven't seen it in a while. looked a bit
rough last time I saw it compared to when it first arrived. Think it had mega $$$ spent on it over in the UK.

Hey Heath... Was that dude a member of the 'LOWDOWN BUGGERS' club..... I seem to remember having beers with them at some pub in Adelaide around that
time.... Its a shame its looking tatty, but that happens when a car get used as it was intended.... Be cool to resurrect it though.... There are a few
cars from that era that would make a cool nostalgia display.... I can think of a few cool cars.... Like B4's Oval, Henry Spicak's Oval, that wild
graphiced 68 from Perth..... Hmmm... The list goes on....
