if i had the money when this came up for sale i would have bought it myself.

good starter project as the hard stuff is done. bajas dont have to be pretty. dont spend too much money on paint and body or u will be scared to scratch it.

where didu get the stinger if u dont mind me asking? and how much?

I kind of liked the original theme on this cool Baja, which I have an article on from a few years ago. I wasn't totally in love with it, but I did really like the checkers, which sort of gave it character in a racey sorta way. How about splashing a checkered stripe down the side with a twist to it... like this...

yeah ive got a few different ideas to break it up. only going with 2 maybe 3 colours in the whole car im keeping it black and orange at the moment. i was thinking maybe a tread pattern across it. i also liked the old paint but it was pretty much unrepairable those little checkers where individual squares that had gone brittle and them alone took me hours to get off. just dont know wat to do for the interior (guages and the such) at the moment.
any comments appreciated
mick

yeah am going sort of a recer sort of baja look lol.
will be getting some stickers for the quarters as you said.
the tail light sorounds wernt meant to be black but i forgot to paint them. so i painted them black but now i think that it needed it to braek up the orange. as for the sterio the soft top is 2 piece one bit covers the back and another covers the roof i will be running the back half most of the time any way to not make it so eye catchin to the crims. does any one know of any after martket central locking or alarms. as i have no keys and is push buttin start i put in a power cut off key like on a drag car in the back but i dont know how that will last. any suggestions or comment appreciated.
