Engine oil & filter for your T3 wasserboxer
Been out of action for a while so thought it time for another post.
Was wondering if there are any particular engine oils & filters out there that people are using on their T3 2.1 wasserboxers?
This is in case i take it to a non VW mechanic for a minor service (i.e. oil & filter change) and rather leave it up to them to put any old oil in it,
i can specify what i wanted.
Don't mind paying extra for say a synthetic oil if this is seen as beneficial.
Thanks

Anything good i run 15/40 mix penrite and common oil filter, Vw australia reccomend 10/40 i thought it may be kinda thin so added 5 points to
compensate for age. It all depends on what nick the motor is in, high k's good condition go higher than the reccomended sj? rating. Valvoline make a
good oil filter if it has been a while in between changes 1 filter and do a double dump of oil with the valvoline filter.
Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...
