EJ22 wiring diagram?
hey people arnt haviung much luck finding an aus spec engine wiring diagram in particular i need to find what the wire colour is that runs from the
computer to the aircon pressure switch so it idles up when air con is on?

they gave up.Think outside the square..or ask nicer!!! Just put a step up solenoid to the compressor power up......it's easier. Also the ECU gets the
signal from the compressor,so you are looking for a plug that fits into the compressor plug....a pressure switch is not for ECU step up,it's for
compressor isolation if system pressure fails.(won't allow comp. to run,avoiding compressor damage).

yeah I don't think there's a direct input from A/C to idle at the ECU; the ECU idle looks at target MAP and/or idle speed instead and if it sees a
change (a drop in idle revs due to the laod of the A/C operation/cycling) it will increase idle revs at IAC valve to compensate... I think!

The wire you are after is pin number 9 on the 16 pin plug. The colour will vary between models. Looking into the back of the plug, number one is the
top right pin, number 9 is directly below it. This is assuming you have a 4 plug ecu too.
The ecu actually has full control over the AC compressor clutch. The pin above is the AC switch wire(or AC request), the ecu also has an AC relay
control pin which earths the coil on the relay, switching the clutch in. This gives a couple of second delay where the ecu idles up to prepare for the
compressor load.
I normally don't list the ecu compressor control pin when I prep a harness as it just adds complexity for do it yourselfers. Instead I just use the
AC switch wire as an idle up signal by wiring it to the compressor clutch wire on the existing A/C system.
