Kicking the rim thing off again
Well i have been trying to get the details correct, and here is what i have come up with.
VW T3 stud 5x112
Ford wont fit 5x114.3.
Next it has become apparent that i can only use the 5x112 studded rims and all is good so how does anyone fit anything other than this?? Want some
examples check out these.

Been ringin Wheel/rim mobs and you cant put anything other than the 5x112 on the car, apparently. If u go to a bigger rim offset it throws out the
whole hub balance? If u redrill it makes the rim weaker i already knew this. If u add bigger nuts to fill the gap around studs(5x114.3) it can shear
the studs away from hub under stress? Stuill got nowhere, lucky i havent bought the rims yet... Has anyone got any links or other info as to how i go
about modifying other rims so as to make them fit onto my kombi?
Anyone got anything

Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...
It's all good, until it's bad, i suppose

no you are drill out holes that were for 12 mm studs kombi's are 14 mm and i can assure you i have had tyer mobs changing tyer and not notice any
problems along with the ballencer and camber and caster when i had the whole bus done
i would not put my family at risk IF THERE WAS ANY DANGER i have been running these for 9 years all together
by taking 12 mm holes out to 17.5 you allow the larger 14mm studs to center sit own and do the maths it works with no stress on any componant

you can buy wheels through each mob that are blanks and you have to get them drilled out to suit your car

I have audi mags on mine, the hole in the center of the wheel needed to be inlarged and i needed to fit longer wheel studs. When looking for wheels
make sure you get the right offset, there is heaps of info on the brickyard site. Or you could always go to somewhere like tempe tyres or aussie
tyres. I dont like them that much. Mates of mine have had wheels fitted there and they seem to be going fine. Tempe is known to fit wheels to just
about anything.

Yeh i bought the car just down the road from tempe tyres and they look like they fit just about anything.. Not bad just do as customer asks within
reason. Nice rims how much rubber 235 on rear 215 on front???? How much can the front take before its out of the guards and rear whilst at it. found a
site and apparently 17x7 is just inside front guards....
