a little bit more than that but yeah. It a HDR [ high dynamic range ] photograph - not actually airbrushing - just having different passes in the
camera and then compositing together varying the different levels to create a "perfect" image.
most digital cameras have a "burst setting" 3 shots back to back at different light settings. this is basically how these shots are created. just
lots of mucking about in a composite program like photoshop to get the right look.
