roof lining for type 3
G'day
It's time for an interior lift on my fastback. The roof lining is shocking and i was wondering whats the best way to go about getting new lining.
If the availability of type 3 lining is good i'll look around, that's easy
or..
should i just do it myself, by getting a similar material, cut it etc. I've heard about cutting the lining into sections and the stitching them back
together to fit it nicely to the roof.
Are there any other things i should be aware of and how is the lining fitted to the material inside it?

I looked for new hoodlining for my square quite a few months ago. The prices I was quoted were high enough to make you faint $900+ If your at all
competant with that sort of thing I think you should give it a go. I don't remember which company on here had the TMI kits for sale, I know that they
are interstate (I had finished looking when I found thier ad) The other option was importing from the US which I was told would be around the $400
mark. If your going to buy a Kit though I would talk to the guys in the Type3 section of the SAMBA site. I remember hearing a horror story about
hoodling but no idea which company made it

if you get one form the states matt dont make the mistake i made,
always buy the one thats a bit more expensive, i made the mistake of buying the cheaper one and the person who installed it for me had to make new
bows for it as the material was just slapped together and was heavy as f@#k.
