Buggy Build

I am looking at building one of Beach Buggy Australia's LWB buggies on one of their proprietory rebuilt chassis. Does any body have any idea of how much it will cost me to get the bare chassis to point where it is rolling including front and rear ends, brakes, transmission etc, also can anyone recommend a workshop in Brisbane to carry out this sort of work.

Beach Buggy Aust will build to various stages, up to turn key, so why not just get them to do it? Apart from Custom Offroad, there is also Sharpbuilt that could also do it for you. http://www.sharpbuilt.com.au/

Another option would be to purchase a buggy that is already built. I've seen some really nice buggies sell on Ebay recently. This would be a much cheaper way of doing it and would be a lot less heartache

I was just talking to the guys from BBA at the Nats, don't quote me, but i think i heard that you can buy a complete rolling pan + shell + other bits for $8-$9k.

It's all on their website

http://www.beachbuggy.com.au/shopping/shopcontent.asp?type=Complete-Chassis

of course suspension, brakes and transmission are not included.
