F/S 73 Kombi Ute 55000km original 2 owner bus
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sadly i am offering my 73 bay single cab for sale.
I have purchased another ute and this one unfortunatly is the one going. I purchased this ute as a one owner 12 years ago. Had 44000 on the clock at
this time.
Car was a fruit and veg pickup in Queensland and obviously did no work. It has done minimal work while i have owned it and has spent its entire life
with me garaged. I havent seen a set of drop sides as straight as these, in all the utes i have seen. The bus has no rust in it!!!!
The stats are:
Original motor 1600cc twin port - removed three years ago to do up the heads and fit new pistons and barrels, done approx 2000kms since this job.
New tyres all round
Everything in the car is either original or if its been replaced its genuine.
No body rust. Bold statement, but true.
Paint has been touched up over the years by the old fella that owned it prior to me, but still good.
Original low kms bus.
Has factory opening quarter vents, grey faced clock and km per hour speedo plus dash fans and glove box lid. Interior is very good and all original,
has a new hoodliner to come with it as the original one has a small tear underneath the sunvisor, done when the windscreen was replaced after getting
smashed returning from Valla 95.
The bus is tight in every way on the road as all low km cars always are.
New door rubbers, side cargo door, engine cover, door hinges rubbers, door srapers and felt channel seals. All Genuine.
Still has the original spare tyre the car came from VW with under the front seat.
Has timber slats on the tray surface as they all did.
Rego till june 08.
I love this bus, i have a few independant people in the VW game, who have said they will vouch for the condition of this bus, i look at every ute
about and this one still amazes me. If you are keen to know more, please dont hesitate to call me, i can call you back if your worried about mobile
call costs. Bus is located in Tasmania and would pass any roadworthy it was put to.
Car is for sale on other media and can be withdrawn as need be.
Call Eddie on 0418 493 788
$13000
Pics arent the best, lost my digital camera, but if you are truely keen from what you can see, call me with an email address and i will get someone to
take pics and email them to you.
