Headlight and Windscreen wiper dash knobs
How on earth do you remove the headlight and windscreen wiper controls on the dash of a 1968 beetle??
I managed to get the vent knobs of with force but these look like they were designed never to come off.
Also I was wondering if anyone had a good idea for aftermarket switches for the headlights and windscreen wipers, or if anyone has done this. If so
could you tell me how it can be done.
Cheers,
Steven

they just unscrew off
pop the little center caps out so u can see if the shaft part is staying put when u unscrew them
with the headlight one a few times ive got old switches where the whole shaft spins so the knob wont unscrew off
if thats happening pull the light switch right out to high/low beam and hold the shaft to stop it spinning while u unscrew the the knob..... minds out
of the gutter ppl
