2nd baja, this was to be the next project, very very rust free, papers, no engine or gearbox but some new parts and i am more than willing to do a deal for the irs and a engine if intrested
http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa300/Dubcrazy_01/secondbaja.jpg

ON HOLD!!! 3rd baja, this one is the real deal, everything done at some point, u all know it as i bought it since then its had all the body work done, a total rebuild of the engine with a heap of head work, new fabricated rad,etc etc ,rewired the back end(front still to do) in fact i have put so many new parts that just about the only thing i have left to do is the gearbox, its fine i just wanted to rebuild so i know in my own mind its good. i am more than will to give serious buyers a total list of what i have doen and there are around 25grand in receipts from the previous owners. The engine is still standard and puts 112Bhp at the wheels, i have bigger turbo and fuel regs that i haven't fited that i will also be looking to sell. I will put up finished pics in the next couple of days ..

1st baja=$3300
2nd baja= offers, no set price in mind so make an offer
3rd baja= swop for a duelcab bay with cash either way depending on condition. to be honest i dont want a major project i would rather a finished or nearly finished one, what ever i sell all this for is to be put into a duel . for stright money around 13 grand

Globes sold
1600 tp sold
i have also dug up some wide five 10's and 8's (two of each)
a brand new 200 clutch kit(all three components) that i brought by mistake, payed 243 take 200, only on offer for a short time as i can return to supplier 4 a credit.

what rear end does the 2nd one have? you mentioned you could do a deal with IRS and motor, this still available? (i'm assuming since your doing a deal with IRS that it currently has a swing axle rear?

before we go making a stupid offer on the 1st one are you negotiable on price at all? is it rego'd or road worthy? swing or IRS?

If you look carefully , both of them are curently swingers , in that you can see the swing axle tubes in the Yellow / Burgendy car and in the other shot of the second car it has wheel tuck in the rear which is only possible with a swinger.

PS Where are you bajaphreaks

sorry to clutter your thread, but i can't send PM's yet :-(

conversion from swing axle to IRS... just how hard is it? un-bolt - bolt up kinda job? or is it a case of cutting welding and engineering approval?

will discuss it with the missus and PM you when i can :P

Mostley all just bolt in except the pivot boxs , ( which are the pivot points for your irs rear arms ) , these are a weld in item only and are located on the back of the torsion tubes hard against the engine support horns.
Give me a ring at Custom Vee Dub in Stafford tomorrow and i will give you a price to do these pivots.

pretty much mate, it was on the road and had no issues. The only reason i stoped useing it was i got the other one and after it stitting for the best part of 4/5 months i de-regoed it. I started it today for the first time in over a month and it ran fine, brakes seemed a little spongy but i only moved it 10 foot and then back again. All the lights worked, hand brake wasn't sticking. I am quite sure it will need very little to pass roadworthy again as pretty much most parts have been replaced at some point.
