wanting to buy a vw van...
wondering what the best year for a van would be?
which vans should one avoid?
Have found a 1970 Van, 1600cc, 8 seater and wondering about specs for it, what can one expect from it etc.?

Hi kieron a 1970 is what they call a lowlight because the front blinkers are down the bottom,these vans are very sought after now going up in value,i
have a 71 the first of the disk brake model 1600cc 8 seater deluxe its no speed machine but is great fun to drive and very reliable,so i reckon buy
the 70 and enjoy it cheers shane.

The 1970 should look like this only it will have drum brakes with the wide 5 pattern and not disk up front with small 5 pattern hope this helps cheers

Great model- my 16 year old grandson has juts bought 70 poptop with 1600.
It will do everything all good Kombis do
Prices will only get better
