For Sale - Brand new TMI interior panels and seat covers for 68-70 bus

Do you want your bus to go from this:

to this:

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z296/perksy67/02102008190.jpg

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z296/perksy67/02102008191_2.jpg

For sale is a full set of TMI interior panels and seatcovers for a RHD 68 to 70 bus.

Includes a full set of 9 panels. The kick panels aren't included unless you want try and convert the pair I have from LHD to RHD (as far as I can tell it's just the hole for the window washer bottle that's different). The rest of the panels are for RHD.

The seatcovers are original basketweave vinyl and include the front seats, middle 2/3 - 1/3 seat (RHD) and the rear seat.

The colour is brick red - an original interior colour for many of the early bays.

Condition is brand new. Still in the box they got shipped out from the States in. I got George from Classic Veedub down in Sydney to get them in for me and then changed my mind on the colour scheme. The bus with the new panels in them above is mine. I put them in myself but got an upholsterer to put the seat covers on.

Classic Veedub import the seatcovers for $990 and the panels for $775. I'm looking for $1200 for the lot so you save yourself over $500. If there's no interest here I'll whack them on evilbay in seven days. I'm happy to split the seatcovers and the panels if I can find buyers for both.

Not usually a fan of first post being a for sale one but I've been lurking a while, i'm not commercial and if someone can save a bit of dough and and I can sell them then hopefully that's ok.

I'm in Brisbane (post code 4030).

Thanks for looking.

Dave.

What a great colour - I wouldn't have changed my mind if I were you! :)
How sweet would that look on a white van.

It was a hard decision.

I was going to do a Birch green or maybe Ascot green and the red would have looked great in it. The 1970 Antarctic White buses also had the red interior, and you're right - it looked really good.

David. Didn't get your PM (might have something to do with a low post count) but feel free to give me a call on 0401 995 797.

Cheers.

Dave.

I know it's a squareback but this is the look I was really close to going for.

In the end, decided to keep it the original honey brown.

Tough choice.

Not sure if these have been sold....but I'm interested in the panels. I actually want to fit these to a late bay. I know theyre different but i can modify them to suit. It seems as though the only different panels are the ones that go above the rear wheels tubs. The front doors, sliding door, square main panel should be the same I'm guessing. Can anyone verify?
