XBOX 360 and PS3 game (BAJA edge of control)
Just puchased an Xbox 360 game recently called BAJA edge of control,if your into offroad racing and gaming consoles this would have to be the best
game ever brought out!!!!, fairly good graphics but concept of the game is insane!!!!, drive along in a baja or pick up a class 1 or trophy truck, get
a flat and u have to call in the helicoptor!!, the big daddy race is the BAJA1000 which takes over 4 hours to complete!, havent been that keen yet but
if anyone has the game post up your best times for some of the rallies and compare!!!! cheers

I've got a PS3, so I'll be looking at getting Motorstorm 2 soon. Motorstorm 1 had Baja's and a huge variety of offroaders to race around with.

Tratty,get it from JB HI FI thats where I got it for only $75 so its pretty cheap considering!!, Yeah Mick you can get all sorts of offroaders I just
couldnt be bothered typing a novel about it!!, You wear out everything on the car including oil pressure if u set up the suspension too soft,if you
crash ur thermo fans can snap off causing you car to overheat and blow a rad hose, good thing is,is that u call the helicoptor if there are any
problems with the car,it may take a while for it to land but u can limp the car to the meeting point. Hill climbs and circuit racing are also
available. If anyone wants anymore info just youtube it,and u will get addicted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People see the cockpit and think "wow, what a nerd". But then they usually follow with "can I have a go", and once they are playing they don't
want to stop

Hi
I was a Gran Turismo fan on PS, after playing Forza on Xbox 360 the new Gran Turismo on PS3 will need to be very good to make me buy a PS3 and
game.
The Xbox 360 backup and support is amazing.

Steve, Forza vs Gran Turismo is a hot topic, debated by pimple covered 13yr old arm chair experts all over the world in various Xbox / PS3 forums.
At the moment there is only Gran Turismo 5 prologue which is like a very big demo. GT5 won't be released for a while yet. GT5P has the following
advantages;
* better graphics, 1080p vs 720p for Forza 2
* allows the logitech G25 steering wheel to be used. From what I've heard Forza won't let you do this.
Forza's current advantage is car damage, although apparently this is coming as a free online update for GT5P. But I don't crash so it doesn't
bother me

Hi Wes
I guess we should both act our age, nah as the songs says "when I grow up I want to be kid".
I haven't found a steering wheel that I like.
The basic controls that come with Xbox work very well, in Forza you are able gradually modulate the steering and brake inputs.
I will see if there is demo for this Baja game.

Good thing about forza 2 is the simulation style gaming instead of the arcade type. Not sure what gran turismo 5 is like but the problems with the
older ones on PS2 was no realistic sideways action, correct me if im wrong but you could only go sideways in the rally section but on bitumen it didnt
seem real??!!, in forza you can power slide if you have the power wherever and whenever u wanted as long as u had the horses!!.
I shouldnt judge GT5 as I havent played it but as far as road car games go Forza and Forza 2 get my vote by far!!!
Nils I get heaps of sunshine when I go to the letterbox to get my ordered 360 game!!!! haha

GT5P has a drift section if that's what you want to do. In the normal races you can slide but it's difficult to slide a race car near the edge of
grip, which I think probably matches reality a little better than a game that lets you slide easily.
