1973 VW Super Beetle L Convertable

Hi guys , little bit of a novice with this stuff but im very eager to learn, i have ordered a few books from amazon.com to care and look after the vw.

If you take a look at a few of my pictures on the following link

http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=73483

And can you guys let me know if this will fit without a problem.

Im assuming my engine is a type 3 single port from what i have read , so i assume the weber will fit.

this is what im looking at,
http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=C13-43-7301
DUAL WEBER 34MM ICT CARB KIT W/ HEX BAR LINKAGE FOR ALL TYPE-3 SINGLE PORT ENGINES
and if you can recommend some other mods to suit then please let me know.

yes dual port
See the cast end pieces to your manifold where it joins the head.

there is an inlet port to each cylinder
Single ports are the earlier style that have one inlet per pair of cylinders
