wheel offset for type 3
Well finally sorted a car and was wandering if someone might be able to help me out on some wheel specs. have to decide on buying either 4.5 mangels
and run 145/65/15's. or 5.0 BRM's and run with 165/50/15. Anyone no which would tuck better on a 71 fastback.once lowered. cheers !!!!!!
Have done the 175/65/15 on 5.5 before to me a little too wide.

My sister tried to fit 5" BRM four spokes on the rear of her notch and they were too wide.4.5" fitted on the front though.

Also use this
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
You need to know the ET (offset) of the wheels you have and want
Then this will tell you how much movement you will get
