Who attended Hardings

How many of you made it to hardings this year, and did anyone get any good scores? I got there at 7.30 and didn't see much there that was any good!

There were less people there this year than last but I got a great original jack for my beetle as well as some original key blanks from Alec (Klub VW Toowoomba) and some locks to make all my keys match. Bought more than I thought although I am still looking for some good panels fro my 68 sedan.

I was there too trying to sell some gear - a lot less people unfortunately and not enough people willing to open their wallets :)

Nothing there that was any good?? A set of powdercoated original steel 4 lug sprint stars for $1200 ONO, a set of 5 wide 5 slotted wheels with caps for $400 ONO....plus other miscellaneous stuff at reasonable prices...anyway, thats life of a swapper I guess - it depends on what you're after, time for ebay (already tried the forum with no success :(

Picked up a pair of early popouts (pre 64) for my mates beetle - nice score at a good price. It was a lovely day that is for sure.

Starbuggy You can work on Saturday again next year as it was today Sunday.

scored a set of kombi microbus external trim, the beginning of the Kombi adventure.

I would have liked to have grabbed the pop outs, but I was too late, the hassles of working late on saturday nights, I dont get to bed till about 2 am on a sunday morning and it takes a lot to get me out of that warm cozy bed on a cold sunday morning. This morning it took My girlfriend who couldnt start the van to get me out of my warm cozy bed and I had to get up out of my warm cozy bed to walk out the front all bleary eyed and turn the key, which {as always} seems to be quite happy to start for me. its all a conspiracy I tell you. but I was happy with my big day out. got a beetle full of bits and peices from all over bribane and met some cool people as well.
Did I mention I like My warm cozy bed when its cold?:D

I left Bundy at 3 am to get there... 9 hour round trip. Didn't buy anything but it was fantastic seeing a street dominated by Volkswagens. :bounce

I was in Brisvegas for the weekend and had never been to Hardings. There may have been fewer attendees, (some locals don't know what day it is!), but Hardings is excellent. Actually I didn't know what day it was either at that stage of the weekend! ;)
Great people, lots of quality accessories, wreckers out the back with split busses in various states of dismantling, examples of work in progress. Hardings would kill it down here.
I don't know what the turnout has been like in the past but there were some nice rides there. Mine goes to the Red & White 23 window. How nice is that?
