Gear Stick Vibration

After driving my Beetle for 2 weeks I’ve found the gearbox shifter stick to vibrate while in 3rd and 4th gear. The stick is lose, I can move it to the left and back again while still in gear.

How can this be fixed? Is it stuffed?

have a look at this post and go to the Superbeetles Only link.

I will be the shifter bushing and rear coupler.
A simple fix that will take a couple of hours. But for the small outlay i gaurantee you will be more than happy with the outcome!

Thanks Blue for your reply. That superbug site has a lot of cool stuff on it.
