wrecker racer from VWMA

what a great story on the wrecker racer inVWMA. what is the final verdict fellas, how much will it cost?
How much do you guys recon it would cost to build a club car, similar to this, do all the work yourself except maybe engine and box. Also, what is the best type of beetle to start with, macpherson strut or beam?????? cheers

Hurry up and wait

Also check out June's Motor Magazine for at least two appearances of aircooled beetles in the pages - firstly Glenns wrecker racer in Morley's rant on what is cool and secondly Glenn has been quite busy transplanting a Holden V8 into a Volvo 242 as well - for the 10K Challenge that graces the pages. I must say this is the most interested I have been in Motor Magazine for eons. And I just finished reading about said Wrecker racer in the pages of the new just-received-yesterday VWMA - What a great present for the aircooled VW/beetle enthusiasts!

Glenn you are definitely living the dream! Keep up the awesome work!

akin to one's avatar/signature..you can appear that you are racing just by saying you are 'chief beetle racer...'

in all reality despite this, one actually hasn't raced for many years.......go figure torrens
