Fitting a Bug body to a front engine chassis?

I wanted to see if anyone has had a go at fitting a beetle body to a front engine chassis?
Or, if there is anyone with any thoughts on this process...

Hi

There was a bug at the Nationals a few years ago, V8 in front on a Anglia chassis, Jag rear end.

I guess you would need to find one with the same wheel base as bug to make it simpler to rego.
