aftermarket heaters/Airconditioning ?

this is directed more towards those who have done an engine conversion, how have you installed climate control/heating/airconditioning into your kombi after doing the conversion ? as my kombi is pretty cold when im driving at night, and id love to fit a heater in there, has someone fitted a climate controll unit out of a hiace or something?

I have done the heater (installed the matrix below the floor and hooked up one of the telescopic cables and also a limit switch on one of the heater levers).

This keeps everything looking stock but there is nowhere near enough room under the floor for the AC unit like I had intended. Will be mounting the AC blower to the left of the handbrake and the AC head unit to the right of the handbrake with flex pipes up and over the handbrake handle to connect them both.

I left all the AC cabling in the cut down subaru loom so apart from the forward controls it should be pretty straight forward.

It's all a work in progress and still some time to go yet.

I'd be interested in anyone else's experiences.

id preffer to take out the levers in the cab and fit ones out of something else, i really find something from another car like a full climate controll systems, something electric/digital would be good, id preffer to fit something under the dash also.. but its an option i guess
