[sold] 1970 beetle
I have a 1970 beetle, not original for sale. It is currently on club rego but I will be selling it unregistered.
1600TP
New headlights and exhaust
Later model tail-lights with reverse lights
Mongoose immobiliser/alarm
Electric fuel pump
Fibreglass parts - engine lid with whaletail, wide guards, front bumper ( if you don't like the whale tail I can swap it with a standard one.)
Sunroof
Kenwood cd player
Sports steering wheel
CSA Centreline wheels - 7 x 14" front, 8 x 14" rear
Gearbox is a bit noisy, it has been since I put it on the road 6 years ago and I thought I would change it when it died but it hasn't yet.
Paintwork is not so good, could really do with a new one one day.
No rust in any of the usual spots,was removed 6 years ago.
Will need new tyres soon, heaps of tread but small cracks appearing in sidewalls.
Engine has some weeps.
Selling due to it not getting as much use as it should, probably been out in it 6 times this year.
It is a good complete car. Rego runs out on the 13/07/2009 so if you would like to look at it, it won't be allowed on the road after this date.
Currently has personalised plates but they do not come with the car. The photos are older ones but still basically looks the same. Located in Kingston
QLD. If sold while the rego is current and live in the Brisbane area we can drive the car rather than having to get it towed, then I will remove the
plates and rego sticker.
$2 600 I will try and get new photos this week.
