The vw beetle registry - Bugs from Ovals to Fatchicks
NOTE: Original post has been removed, this is the first reply.
Dylan,
Why would you want other peoples VIN's and Engine numbers. I dont think anyone would put these details up as it would be easy to copy and rebirth a
car. Please dont think this is what I am thinking of you, but just a different view. Sorry, I dont trust many people. Nothing personal.

Guys im dissapointed im getting a negitive reponse i just thorght it would be good to see how many VINs we can get because it would be interesting if
someone your knew had a beetle that was made 1 or 2 earlyer or late than yours. Im not sure how you can do a re-birth of a car just with the vin but
it's just like the KO register , it's just to see how many we can get.

Thanks DU88EN , I just thorght we could do it as like the KO NO. register. I could walk up to any car and see the vin number on the rego label and if
people could re birth a car just with a vin number , well i dont think that will work so who is going to add to this list.

Copy VIN and rebirth a car?
If you are doing this kind of thing, this list is not going to specially help you
You can get chassis and engine number off most registration labels that are visible from outside your car while it is parked anywhere.
Paranoia is not worth getting revved up about.

True. thanks hellbus. You can't just get a vin number and re-birth a car you need a compliance plate for them to check the vin is correct and if the
plate is'nt present they check the chassis number stamped on the chassis. Lets just see how many we can get , or is no one game enough.

Yes i can see where people are comming from but you must not be able to Re-birth a car just with the number. Because VIN numbers are so easy to get
you can look on ebay listings or you could look on rego lables. So if it was that easy to do something illegle with them why are they so easy to find
, They don't seem like a secret to me.

VIN / Engine number
Hi there,
I was just reading your list and noticed that it has my vehicles details on it. I have only just purchased the car about 2 weeks ago from Forster..so
I assume that you have seen or know someone who used to own it.
The pervious owner was a bit sketchy on details etc when I bought it...do you have any info on any of the cars you have on the list?

Why NOT??
I have thought about doing this or adding My info into one for many years...
many cars have Registers where all this info is saved...
so for cars over 40 years old... its a great idea...
so You wouldn't like to see Your car with its rego number in a magazine etc???

Yeah. I'm going to appologise in regards to my first comment of why. Dylan, freaking go for it mate, lots of people are going to hate it, tell them
to get over it, you love VW's. and thats pretty sweet in my book. So, sorry for what i said.
As for fatchicks, I was joking, but as joel said, i also thought it just meant supers... so there you go. YOU CAN LEARN SOMETHING EVERYDAY!! Alot of
people on here neeed to geet over themselves and realise that. You know who you are!
Good on you dylan

had already started one myself i thorght i would put it up here. And to those people that posted things up like smart arse coments about fat chicks
and tomato soup i would just appreciate that you keep your comments to yourself and stop filling this topic with negitivitie and smart comments that

Guys , Soon i will be deleting this post and making a new one, It will have all the numbers in it already submited but just a bit updated and cleaned.
In the end this list is nothing more than just a list. Nothing fishy or illegal going on it's just a vw beetle registry. From Dylan The Dubber
