wiring ea82 to kombi


hey im needing some in put i have put a ea82 in our kombi goes great but i am losing power on hills i mean it dies wondering if i need 2 run extra wire for all the thermo fans & f/pump insted of from the coil
i have a 3 core under neath & the orig subaru in the back
makes it run cool running big d/ craig under neath & 2 subaru fans on the back rad or even better has some one got a wiring dig cheers olly & hippy d

I wouldn't run the fans off the coil as the power for it comes through the ignition switch. I assume you are doing it to have the fans powered only when the ignition is on. In that case, run a relay off the coil to switch power from the battery to the fans.

I doubt that is the cause of the engine dying under load, but it is a fix you should make anyway.
