Hey Jemster, congrats on your new resto! What model / year type 3 is it?
I am not sure if these guys would take on a VW (they normally do Ferraris etc.) but Des Higgins Motor Bodies in Salisbury do some great work, and do
things the old way....no bog etc. Guess it depends on where you are located too.
Hope all goes well for your resto....looking forward to seeing pics.
Paul

Thanks,
It's a 1970 1600 not sure if it's a TL but the motor is fantastic. Just have to get everything else up to scratch, don't have any badges not much
outer trim, rust of course, no carpets and front seats are not original and ropey. But I was away for four months and she started second turn
brilliant!!

Where abouts are you in Adelaide mate? It would be good to hook up with another type 3 fan....I am currently working on a 1967 Type 3 Notchback.
So what style is yours? Notch, Fasty, Squareback??? Details, deatils....c'mon!

Great! Can't wait to see em.
The best way is to open a 'photobucket'account, upload your photos there, then attach to your post using the 'attach picture' icon when
posting.
Hope this helps......

Great pics. Looks nice and straight. Check back through the old for sale ads for parts.

nice one mate... a Fasty. What are your plans, restore to original or restore and modify? Either way it will be a good build up. Dont forget to post
progress pics along the way, seeing other peoples work inspires me to get out there and do more on mine.
Its always handy having a little helper too....by the look of yours, he seems pretty interested in the project too!
Thanks for sharing the pics, good luck with the build.
