HANDBRAKE Cables
I have just fitted 76' beetle trailing arms (complete with handbrake cables) into my 68 semi auto. The problem is that the handbrake cables seem
about 5cm too short !!!
I thought all IRS beetles would run the same length cables, is this not the case ???
How many types are there ?
Cheers

cables
several different cables were used,
the 68 semi auto cable is 60mm longer than the 76 ones. |

?
what do you need cables for?
i thought brakes were for pussies.
cables would be unnecessary if you drove it like you stole it!

I do handbrake turns in the beetle all the time. Are there any long term side effects from this, other than increasing muscle size in left forarm? :o

Another long term side effect would be decreasing cash in the wallet due to replacing prematurely worn tyres.
