anyone out there know where i can pick up a blower motor for my type 3 i'm in brisbane and tried a few places but cannot get any help from them

Have same problem myself mate tried fixing up old one turned for 5 mins then lots of smoke and burning and couldnt get smoke back into the wires so
gave up have looked for a new one but no luck just have to drive a little faster to keep cool grin:

Its a fiddle but you can replace them with a fan from a boating shop. They are meant to mount in line with a duct about 4 inches diameter and about 5
inches long. Take about 4 Amps. You have to make support brackets wihich takes some ingenuity but.... . They also seem to put out a lot more air than
the original.
