orange 1972 beetle for sale

Comments i have owned this car for three and half years and i was adament that i would be keeping it forever. however due to me working at kmart whilst doing a uni degree i can not afford to keep my beetle. i have never driven the car hard and have always had her serviced by a vw specialist (vw performance peter korsch). good points -jelly bean mags -disc brakes in the front (this model is alot easier to drive than most models for anyone unfamiliar with beetles) -pioneer cd player -the engine im not sure when it was installed (previous owner did it) but its out of an automatic which if u know ur beetles can be varafied and runs well and was always serviced. -new front tyres 2 weeks ago and good rears (i didnt get a wheel alighnment thats why they wore out) -aluminium skirting boards -extractors (came with the car wen i bought it) -body is straight with 2 little patches of surface rust that wont hinder rego (it was the same last time)however front half was repainted by me coz it wasnt very good but now it is ok not an exact match but pretty close see pics -rego is till 28th of feb ok bad points -reason i cant keep it is the selector for the second gear has gone and i cant afford to fix it.u can drive the car and 2nd gear does work however when going back in the gears from 3rd to 2nd it wont go in with out crunching. so u can drive it to wherever u just cant (or shouldnt) go back to second gear from third. -paint doesnt match 100% on the front see pics and when i tried to use the sealer it didnt set wel so its a bit motled (not to bad tho) -and there is an annoying squeek from the suspension? but iv been told its nothing to worry about as all it does is squeek and nothing badand is cheap to fix. (again im dirt poor and cant afford it this ad is costing me alot as is =) i really am incredibly sad to see her go and i would love her to go to a good home. $2000 o.n.o
