[FS - TAS] 1964 beetle (reduced price)
Selling my 1964 beetle (2nd listing price dropped since no takers previously)
The car was restored 18 months ago and has been garaged over tassie winter and out driving during summer
The car is in excellent A1 conditions with many news parts (seals, lights, seatbelts, carpet, tyre, shimes, electrics, sunvisor, ....),
original 1200 engine (restored) that runs like a charm (recently serviced)
I used the car several time per week to commute to work
Brought the car as an unfinished project and finished up, passed rego and drove it for about 2 seasons
reluctant sale
Must inspect ! located in Hobart CDB and about to go to the shed
Mathieu
the good:
- body in perfect conditions,
- engine is A1 condition
- running gear as new
the not as good:
- the interior is not entirely finished
- the headlining is not in place but the part is there and will be provided
- the front seat are not low back (safer !)
The car is currently fully registered is Tassie (July 2010)
Price is
6500 negotiable

update
the car has a small dent in the hood (see picture attached) nothing serious, plus the driver windows regulator need replacement

Saw it parked in the street, someone in the passenger seat with blonde curly long hair.... The beetle looks great... and a bargain too!
I too will wave on spotting, like I did when I saw it parked....
