Yep some great action today - Eric C's run was insane (willl get the vid on you tube later tonght (our [US] time)).
Richie Webb pulled another crazy wheel stand in first and second but killed part of the tranny in the process but had it out and was reassembling it
after repairs when I left the track at about 8pm tonight.
Kris Lauffer ran 8.94 @ 162 in his pro mod car, and Hector Urias ran 8.86 (missed the MPH) plus a lot of the other pro mod cars in the 9's. Pat Downs
ran 9.68 @ 141....Pat McDermott is having teething issues with his new twin turbo setup but was going to be working in the night to try and iron some
bugs out. Marty Staggs could only get 4psi boost at the most so only ran once and was changing the turbo when I left - hopefully gets some boost
tomorrow!

Just a quick update - Eric Calabrese won Pro Mod with another 8 second pass (beat Kris Lauffer in the final who had mechanical probs on the start line
and got pushed back). Kris ran an 8.4 earlier today. Will try and get some vids/pics/info up soon (internet is being slow at the moment which makes
uploading vids very time consuming!).

Dave , sorry I tried to call but the moblie network was down . I had a blast , the racing was the best I have seen in years . The hunt for the first 7
second club member is hotting up as Chris Laufer in his brand new bug went 175 mph after only 3 or 4 passes . It looks like it will be a rocket when
he feels more comfortable in the car , but for now it is making almost 700 hp on onlt 19 psi boost . I have got some pics of them mounting 250 pounds
of lead in the front just to bring it up to the class specs . Marty had carb problems and would not boost up , Eric Madsen showed me inside the first
Pauter bottom end and all 3 remaining rods are like bananas , Jon Scheers lost the engine , Roger changed engines overnight as he wasn't happy and I
walked up at the wrong time and hepled rechange the engine before his last run , 20 minutes drive in drive out when everything is hot , My back is
paying for it today , Buster I think cracked a cyl and Frank the bank had a melt down after he told me that he left the fuel line loose , more later
