Nice, i thought about trying to source some wheels like that for my car, never know, im in the market for some 14inch wheels for it at the moment! I
love that style rim.
Should be interesting to see the project if its ever finished, i love the concept!

the determination for a notch that rusted makes all other
restoration projects look like a walk in the park by comparison.

litter the streets? umm I don't think they are that common. I'm having difficultly finding any late ones.
Might just be Victoria though?

Very cool. I saw his original post on The Samba asking if people thought this car was too far gone. I guess he bought it and gave it a go

Good grief, that's a lot of work to go to on a late Type 3! The rational part of my brain would never let me invest so much money and effort into
such a relatively cheap and common car. From the sounds of his posts the Type 3s must be really rare over there in Canada and the US though, because
he was having to get people to search junkyards in the US just to find a Type 3 front fender and get it shipped to Canada. We're lucky that they're
nowhere near that rare here, but Type 3s still don't quite 'litter the streets', unless you mean the slow dripping of oil from them!
