Are you able to retune them for different wheel diameters as well?
Do you do earlier bugs as well or just late at the moment?

What about bay window Kombi speedo's? Got a deluxe with trip meter and odometer that doesn't work. Face isn't bad maybe a bit of a tidy up as well.

I used to have one of those white indiglow faces
They look ok in daylight but they're bloody awful at night which is the main reason i dumped mine
Brent that makes them does a good job but he doesnt realise that Old VW speedos arent like new modern car ones he makes
The numbers are translucent and the bulbs throw all the lighting directly in your eyes through the 120 and 50/60 marks but none of the others due to
obstructions behind. and no reflective surfaces
also theyre only made of thin fragile plastic which works in modern clusters which have the backing supports but in VWs which have metal ones
originally the edges of the plastic soon start to curl
I imagine it would be worse in a car that sits out in the sun abit, mines always undercover
Also theres no stop peg for the needle at 0 so it flops around abit

hey noticed this thread. I am wanting to get the white and red markings
painted on my type 3 fuel gauge face so I can do away with the marked plastic glass and replace with real glass.
I am guessing you would be able to do that?

no white. I hate it.
See the red and white marks on the edge of the glass?(they are actually painted on the glass), I want those replicated on the actual fuel gauge
inside, so I can replace the plastic glass with real glass so it matches the other custom gauges I am building up atm.

Hey Dylan, I bought the speedo on ebay. Thanks it's great but am wondering how I can get a KPM face for it. Any suggestions would be helpfull, but am
unsure about using a white face.
68 Baja - It's a growing pain!
58 Baja ute - and the pain spreads!
85 T3 Kombi - still growing
89 T3 Kombi - parts car
