Mid mout studs


Hi Guys,
how do i remove the four studs so that i can sort out my mid mount. I have the brace but there is not enough stud protruding todoubble nut...?

Do the studs one at a time, then re-fit the nuts, so that there is little chance of a leak beginning.
Once all the studs are changed, then remove the nuts and fit the mount.

There should be enough thread to "double nut" once the washer is removed.

Normally the only difficult stud is the zinc plated one that is for your earth strap.
Without having the gearbox totally disassembled,
you may have to spot weld a nut to the end of the stud, or resort to vice grips for that one.
