HINGES


i went put a new door on the square today and didnt notice until i took the old one off that the hinges were differant can the hinges come off(i did try to knock them out)
i think the other door came from a notch

what yr is ure car and what year is the notch door may be ure probl
i am parting a 70 sqr if u need bits or a hinge of that yr




want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!

mine is 72 the notch doors are 70;s not sure of date but i have found out that the notch are differant,so know i have to get another door

Notch different doors??? or just the model difference???

Looks like the longer hinge would have the 2 bolts the same, you can't cut off the excess material on the bigger earlier hinge.

Doors different or hinge only different?? Let's be clear here on the technical stuff rather than modern computer lingo to make it easier for all. I for one would like to know the real difference before I start collecting rust!
