VintageSpeed Exhausts Bolt Straight on
One of the first Vintagespeed exhaust's that we know of in the country was fitted to a 2007cc in a split kombi over 2 years ago, this produced over
97 BHP at the wheels and was still making power at 175 KMH on the Dyno (at Leons Motors)
The Last 5 Motors B4 has built all use Vintage Speed Systems because they have proved that they bolt straight on, no modifying any bodywork or
manipulation to the system to make them fit.
Merged Super Flow good for up to 2.3 Litres
The quality of the fit & finish is second to none
as seen in the photo's

I have the 1.9 SF muffler on mine, sounds great although I havent had the chance to drive it far yet. The fit was PERFECT!! Very pleased with the
quality and vintagespeed were happy to make the header to accomodate a filterpump style setup with only a minor delay.
Would definatly deal with vintagespeed again.

Wow, that merged Super Flow is an interesting design. What are they like in terms of access to the nuts? I just installed a sidewinder exhaust on my
Superbug and couldn't get a socket or ring spanner on anywhere due to the diameter of the pipes, had to use open-enders.

The merged superflow can be adjusted width wise by using the Vintagespeed spacers between where the pipes attach to the actual muffler

What can you tell us about the merged super flow exhaust on the black bug?
Have you done any dyno testing?
How does it compare to a typical merged exhaust - performance wise?

As mentioned the quality is amazing, it bolted straight one, no mods to bodywork ect.
I believe he had a Berg 1 7/8 merged exhaust on it and prefers this one.
No Dyno testing but the owner says he can tell the differance and believe me B4 knows.
Thats why he will recommend these exhausts over everything else
If you google Vintagespeed, go onto their site and they have loads of videos of their exhausts on the dyno and compare them to others as well

Thanks Black64, I've been looking at the merged super flow exhaust for a while and trying to find some real life experience and testing on it.
However there doesn't seem to be much on the net.
http://www.store.vintagespeed.com.tw/ Unfortunately there's no
dyno testing on this exhaust.
