Removing Rear Trailing Arms-Bolt Stuck
One of the bolts that mounts the rear trailing arm to the chassis appears to be stuck to the inner steel sleeve of the bush. The bolt is undone, but
won't come out. And when turned, turns the steel sleeve as well.
There is not a lot of room under there to get a hacksaw to cut through the bolt but I can see any other way to separate the two, or get the bolt
out.
I've tried sharp taps with a soft hammer, and lots of turning of the bolt.
I've got spare bolts so wrecking one isn't too much of an issue
Any suggestions welcome.

Jeza,
Aside from heaps of penetrating fluid, and doing it back up, then out again a few times to move it in the sleeve.
I once resorted to welding a bolt in the head of the 17mm hex after inserting it through a loop of chain, then used a 6 foot crowbar to get it out.

U mite also find it easier to slowly remove the diag arm as u remove the bolt. and the same with putting it in. |

It took me a while to picture this but I think that makes a lot of sense, hopefully I won't have to resort to that method, as there ain't
enough room in the garage to try it....
Bix, I'm not sure that I follow you. the trailing arm is no longer attached at any point bar the inner mount, of which I can't get the bolt
out. The arm moves up and down, but that is about it...
