[WTB - QLD] beetle project

looking for a beetle project. i did one a few years ago for my daughter and paid a small fortune to have everything done. time to have a go myself. i have limited to no mechanical knowledge, never welded or painted. how hard can it be?? hahaha.
like the look of early beetles but open to suggestions. but nothing too scary. motor would be good but not necessary. Gonna be a while before i think about power.
thanks, don

I know of a '58 type 1 that needs some work but it's a complete car worthy of repair. Sunshine Coast too :)
