Steel Rims Swap or Buy

Hello! Ringo what's some new shoes.

I am after some steel rims for my Beetle, Ringo. As far as I can tell they come from 914 (googled it). They are 15in rims. I would like 5 of this type. But maybe that's asking a bit much.

I'll add a pic so you all know what I'm talking about. I'll also add a pic of my current rims, of which I only have 4.

I've seen rims advertising as low a $15 and as high as $120. Depends on condition, and a few other things :ninja:

My rims are the gold ones. The one's I am looking for are the other ones. I hope there is no confusion!

You can contact me, Mark, at/on:

Cya!

They are just regular late Beetle & Karmann Ghia rims. They are just as common as regular 4 bolt Beetle rims everywhere else in the world but here. Brazillian & Mexican Beetles also had them as standard equipment (So there is literally quite a few million of them floating around). Shouldn't be that hard to find a set over here, I doubt they would be very expensive either. Good luck.

You would be surprised, there's not that many Lemmertz sets here and they usually fetch decent $$ when they do come up.

They arent as common as you think.
US only used them on Cabs after 73ish, special editions and the later fuel injected bugs and a few of the last year KGs
Same deal in Europe, just late cabs and special editions

Brazilian and Mexi bugs never used them, they did have some steelies in Brazil which were different again but not like Lemmertz

And Mexi Vochos just used stock steelies with black plastic center caps
