I cant believe we are less than 4 months out and still no thread !
Thought Id start one just in case you guys forgot .
Im hoping to take 2 cars this year , if , I can get some transport up for one of the cars . So , is there any interest this year to hire a truck and
bring cars up ?
Dave B , will your new set-up be ready for testing at Warwick ?
Trent , you still bringing both cars up ?
Rod - Will your car be finished ?

Questions for the weekend are :
Will there be a 5 second pass from one of the heavy hitters - If one of the CBB crew have a nice clean run, Boys from Volkommen Art or if Trent makes
it there?
Can a watercooled car crack the 7 second mark - If Guy Harding brings his New Golf R then that is quite easily achievable especially if it makes the
HP he hopes it will!! (approx 600hp at the flywheel)
Who has the quickest street car - If Aaron gets a clean run then he'd have to be odds on favourite?
I just hope the weather is fine all weekend so we get good track conditions and heaps of incident free racing!!

Almost the same as it was a month ago.... A friggin long way from being a race car! But it will be done! will be posting an update after this weekend.
should be very close to being a roller. Oh thats right, you just cut your front end off! the things we do hey?? So the rat is finally getting a coat

You talking the Quarter there bud or the 1/8th. Warwick is only 1/8th so for Guys car to get what Life In The Low lane suggest wouldn't be much of an

I dont think Brenndann was refering to outright fastest in the country,
or even mentioned "street water cooled VW"!
.... just who might be in the 7's at Warwick , water cooled VW.
If you race at Warwick you can be the fastest water cooled VW there.

At the opposite end of the scale I,m hoping to be there with 'team china' after a 2 year absence. There's only one problem....... the datsun
powered squareback was COMPLETELY submerged in my backyard during the january floods!!!!! What are the chances of getting it going again? I spose I'll start by draining all the fluids and taking the carby off and giving
everthing a good clean. Dont know, thank god there's no computers in the thing.....hoping for low 10s lol

I've done 50,000k's on this turbo setup you goose! Drivin the car to wakefield many times and WSID and never had any problems.. I know who you are

I dunno how many k's youve done , or what stage your up to with the car . I havent seen you post much on any forum in a while and Im suprised you
even found this forum ! I know you were meant to be getting a Scirroco , I thought that that car was getting the R36 TT engine ? Either way Im always
happy to hear of any times you post , and also happy to come along and watch when you run ! BTW Lucas's 11.7 still stands as the fastest watercooled
VAG car in Aus , Im sure you can beat that time now with the R36 engine  .
As for my achievements , well , a lot of stuff I did in the past and Ive had a bit of financial pressure you could call it , from a past relationship
placed on me thats made finishing any viable project very hard ! Although it doesnt mean Im done and dusted , just taken extended leave from my own
projects  . As for the S3 , its been unregoed since 2008 , due
to those reasons .
Would be good to see you come up to Warwick , its a good atmosphere , great people , good fun , no real pressure and heaps of time can be spent on the
track . Bring your wife and kids , grab a tent and join the party !

Apmitchell74 I have seen the pics and heard of your car but never read about how fast or how much hp it makes. Sorry to strike a nerve with you but
nowhere did I say that Guy's car was the quickest in Australia or made the most hp!! Please read the post before firing up your fingers on the
keyboard with a response that wasnt really called for. Yes Guy has been asked to come to Warwick but it clashes with an event held by the Porsche club
each year. Warwick/Portland has always been attended very poorly by the water cooled community so if someone like yourself with the sort of car you do
have(which I do like very much!!) it may be the catalyst to get others involved in a great weekend of racing.
