They bolt in but they dont fit without some major cooling system changes.

yes they do, you will need the gearbox to be clearanced, you will need an upright cooling kit. most likely a external oil cooler, custom exhaust made especially for a type 4 into beetle, and most likely a different carbeurator setup to stock

cool too much effort for me :) cheers for the help hopfully getting a project car for the wife but it has no engine :( . fisat time around bugs so it'ss take a bit of cheang of mind set to working on jap cars :)
