Bug shock length???
Hi guys im just sorting some shocks for my 71 kombi. I had it lowered a while back but im only sorting this now. Its very low and the front shocks had
about 1cm of travel before they bottom out i was told to put rear bug shocks into the front so just wanted to measure up the length both compresed and
at full length just to work out how much travel they will have. Any help would be great cheers Ev

I have rear oil shocks for My beetle and they measure:
450mm maximum 280mm minimum
measured from centre of eye to eye...
I don't know what they were made for... I bought them off ebay years ago..
I just asked what the measurement of the shocks were extended and compressed...
they used to have a part number on a sticker but its gone now...
cheers
