Custom Speedo
Hi all,
I was just reading the latest Top gear magazine and saw some spectacular speedo - from an Aston Martin Vantage. It's designed to look like a high end
watch - all aluminium and stunning.
I jumped on the interweb to see if there were any good looking custom VW speedos and dials that I could get.
I found some digital ones, VDO generic stuff and a few with white backgrounds, but nothing as nice as that. I know that the instrument cluster alone
in that car probably costs more than my bug, but I got to wondering what other people have done.
Ebay turned up a few interesting speedos from other cars which might fit with some metal work.
I like the VW standard speedo. Mine is actually from a 56 beetle in Germany - so it is in Kms/Hr, so it is useful and accurate. But all the same, a
nice chrome custom speedo would look awesome.
