Injector question.

Has anyone had any experience with Siemens VDO injectors.

I am looking for replacements for long ago NLA Bosch injectors.

Turns out Siemens make them new as either VDO or Deka branding.

Just wondering how is the general quality of them?

Cheers.

They are fine - Mercs and BMs use them. Continental now own SiemensVDO

cool thanks for that.

I pinched some 20 year old injectors off my other car with the pintal caps starting to fall apart, I scrounged up 3 injectors which was just enough to replace the 3 leaking injectors on the not so long ago reco'd set.

This is a temp fix for now but what a difference when starting the car after a sit for 30 min with the engine hot. Starts 1st go now! :tu:

haha sometimes it better to have 260k unserviced old injectors than 80k reco ones

I'll get the VDO new set soon enough.
