411 - MtCootha (Brisbane)
Is there a 411 getting around brisbane?
Unfortunately was not me that saw it, a friend said they saw a 411 on Mt Cootha Sunday morning. Apparantly was travelling with a few other VW's.
Anyone aware of a 411 on the road in Brissy?

That group of VW's was a few members of the VW Drivers Club out for a pre-chrissie cruise and brekki.
No 411's in the group tho... at a guess probably John's 1970 Fasty that someone saw !!!
I did see a red 411 drive through Fortitude Valley a few years back, but don't know who's it was...

Cheers,
I'm guessing that's the one. Number plate was 197-OVW
Have seen a few Red 411's about but none in Brissy. Sure it was not a white one?
Would be nice to see a few more on the roads, there are heaps about but none seem to get used. Their worth the effort to keep on the road.

Yup - that's the Fasty.
The 411 I saw was definitely red... pretty faded and but not ratty looking, and on QLD plates from memory (green on white ones)... the only Type 4
I've ever seen outside of at various show's around the place !!!

Cool. Another one I'm not aware of!!
Our 411 is the missus daily driver, mum's taxi/shopping cart. We take it on runs up/down the coast when I want a break from the kombi

Type 4
I saw a T4 at the Musgrave Rd Waterworks Rd join up about 8 months ago. It was white and a bit ratty and driven by a middle aged dude. It was way cool
to see one in real life!
