New to the Dub Club :D


Hey Volks Enthusiasts,

Im new to the forum and learning all about volkswagens. Starting to develop a love and passion for volkswagens :). I thought i would just introduce myself to the community. My name is Nick and ill cya's all around the forum.

My mate of my brother has one, and i love them. But i dont mind at all. I just want a 1970's beetle. :D I dont know much about the differences yet though, but i will learn fast :)

From what i have been told and i may be wrong but a 68-72 is better than the L bug 73 onwards especially if you want to lower the front end.

I am sure others here will correct me if i am wrong

yep - you are wrong :lol:
L bugs are dead easy to lower ....................... but not slam like that vid

You will be better off with a standard (and they are 60's dubs) if you want to look like them

L bugs and Supers suit more the Euro style

To DubEnthusiast, You should try and make it to Dubs by the Pub this year. Its the first vw show to start the year off. There are usually some vw for sale and will give you a look into the real world of VW'S. Check events for 2012 for more info.

I was planning on going to Valla this year in my brothers Volkswagen. I may have mine by then but however, ill still be on my learners :P. So yea. Ill love that :). Ill see if i can rock up to this Dubs by the Pub event.
