early Type 3 dash pads

Hey guys. I have been looking around for a descent dash pad for my 66 squareback. I found one but the speaker vent was in a round configuration not the retangle kind of shape. What years did these come out on or would it be a aftermarket job??

Hi Guys,
Yes I do make LHD and RHD dash covers, but youcan either fit them as is , or over the old dash, or fill them with foam.
So far, all guys have fitted them as is, and they are and look perfect.
Should you want to see them, look at the Samba thread. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=479677
Should you have questions, please e-mail me on pi-dss@mweb.co.za
Hope this helps.
Herman

Hey just wondering,
is there any difference in early and late dash pads? (except maybe the speaker bit).
Pete.

RHD replica dash pads now available.

These are not plastic skins like the ones from SA but are a moulded polyurethane foam that replicates both sides of the dash. Must supply the plastic rings from the old dashes in exchange so they can be reused in the new ones. AUD$550 inc gst
