Porsche Motor for T3
I recently brought a '90T3 and the motor is good but down the track I wanna get a herbier motor in it. I've seen much about Sub motors but not a lot
about Porsche. What is best Porsche motor for ease of fit, power and cost? in other words what's a happy medium between those 3 competing attributes?
Expense? I hear U say........ |

that's because Porsche engines and parts cost 3x as much, parts are harder to get and the economy of them sux compared to a modern 6cyl Subi engine.

I think you get the point.
Expect major surgery, a porsche gearbox and the like. You need to look at the racetaxi and talk to some euro guys.

This is a T3 chassis with porsche running gear.
There are a number of porsche specialists who've converted T3s over the years. Ring around and you'll find one to talk to about it. But just
remember, it won't be cheap.

Don't get me wrong, if I had the dollars, I'd built a porsche powered T3. There are a lot more engine and mod options with porsches than subaru flat
6s. And then there is the HP! If you could buy a wrecked GT3 as a parts car, you'd have a bus that would destroy any HSV and most other sports cars
too. But again, it all comes down to $$$$.

I know where a full drivetrain from a 2002 996 GT2 is for sale in Sydney if anyone is interested. Comes with brakes, suspension, gearbox and motor.
Two people were killed in the car it came from which kinda puts me off it.

| This is a hijack, steve are there any body pannels from that car I'm chasing f+r bumpers engine cover? For my 996 project. As for
6cyl subies the new3.8 seems pretty good value $3300 for a complete motor not sure on the weight but they are only slightly longer than the ej20's
etc.If you were to do the Porsche conversion could I sugest "broke n can of worms" but when they reposses your house or unit you could live in the
t3

Not much else left of that GT2 I'm afraid. Ironically I have a set of front/rear bumpers in great condition, and a complete engine lid from a 1999
Carrera 2 996. They aren't turbo items which is probably what your looking for, but they are in great condition. Artic Silver if that helps! I'll PM
you.

Want an engine like this?
Trike take corners faster than motorcycles. So this machine would have massive G forces.
