FS: Engine Lid Standoffs to keep your beetle engine cooool
Item: CNC Engine lid standoffs ( will also fit late beetle)
Condition: NEW
Location: Galston
Price: $49 plus postage.
Keep your beetle engine cool by fitting this engine lid standoff, and enjoy the benefits of dramatically reduced oil temps. My car runs oil temps of
10-15deg C cooler with this standoff fitted, with no other changes being made.
Opening the bottom instead of the top means you dont have to worry about rain or foreign objects falling into the engine bay, and there is no need to
"install/remove" like hoodjaxs which means less damage to your painted engine lid and car.

Hi Shaun, yes it holds tight (same as factory) on the early beetles
The catch on a later beetle operates differently so there is some movement, but its minimal.
